This short Certificate Course provides students with an understanding of operational aspects of running food and beverage operations in any environment. It is designed to equip students with technical skills to enable them acquire an entry position in any food and beverage operation. A blend of practical training and classroom theory enhances the students confidence in carrying out the tasks of a food and beverage operator and at the same time strengthens their customer service skills. The curriculum is based on the respective module descriptors of the Swiss Diploma in Hotel Management, and includes an industry placement of 20 weeks.
